Remove sagging skin from the upper arms for a firmer, more toned appearance
An arm lift, also known as brachioplasty, is a surgical procedure that removes sagging skin from the upper arm. Dr. Kitto performs arm lift procedures on patients who are looking to eliminate droopy and loose skin, and alleviate the discomfort around the arms caused by weight loss, genetics, or aging.
Best Candidates
Healthy individuals with upper arm skin laxity are good candidates for an arm lift surgery. They should also have stable body weight and good elasticity in the skin, preferably several months prior to surgery.
After losing 150lbs I had a lot of arm skin that made me feel very insecure. She removed my skin and gave me a confidence I didn’t know I could have!

The procedure
An arm lift procedure typically takes about two hours if not performed with other body contouring procedures. Dr. Kitto will make an incision underneath the arm or from the armpit to the elbow, remove excess fat, and then excise lax skin that gives the arm its sagging appearance. The skin will then be redraped and the incisions are sutured.
Recovery process
You will receive a compression garment to be worn for a certain amount of time to decrease swelling, accelerate recovery times, and ensure that the operated areas settle in the desired position long after the procedure is complete. You may experience some discomfort, but should be able to return to your normal routine within one to two weeks.
Very professional and personable. Pleased with my results.
