Why ENdoscopic browlift

“I look so tired” is the most common complaint patients present to Dr. Kitto with. In many occasions patients will notice the droopy upper eyelid but it is also the low position of the eyebrow which further crowds the upper eyelids, gives the appearance of small eyes that can lead to a “tired look”. In cases like this the eyebrow position has to be corrected. The eyebrow is reshaped and stabilized to “open” the eye and create space and brightness around the eyes.

The procedure

In an endoscopic browlift Dr. Kitto will masterfully reposition your eyebrows via three small incisions in the hairline. Of course there is the power of fat grafting. Harvested and purified fat is strategically and artistically grafted around the eyebrow to further rejuvenate the eyes. Dr. Kitto commonly uses fat grafting in periorbital rejuvenation. In a direct browlift (commonly performed in men) Dr. Kitto will reshape and stabilize the eyebrow via an incision in the eyebrow hairs.

Recovery process

The skin around the eyes is very thin and delicate. It is common to have swelling and bruising. It is important to rest and lubricate the eyes and refrain from physical activity in the first week.
