Remove excess fat deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise

Liposuction is a minimally invasive procedure that is performed to remove excessive fat from the body through a small, thin tube called cannula. The fat is suctioned from the body through this tube to help patients achieve a more slender and balanced overall appearance.

Best Candidates

Patients who will undergo liposuction must be in good health and be within the average weight range. Ideal candidates are those who have difficulty getting rid of stubborn fat despite performing regular vigorous exercise and eating a healthy diet.

After losing 150lbs I had a lot of arm skin that made me feel very insecure. She removed my skin and gave me a confidence I didn’t know I could have!

The procedure

Liposuction is generally performed under anesthesia whereby the area to be treated is numbed, while the patient remains awake. Dr. Kitto will make several small incisions to help expand and firm the fat, making it easier to remove. The cannula is then inserted through the incisions to suction out the fat. After removing the excess fat, the incisions are closed by applying a bandage to prevent bleeding and reduce swelling.

Recovery process

Following liposuction, you can expect mild swelling, bruising and discomfort in the treated area, but these symptoms should fade quickly. You’ll need to wear compression garments immediately after the procedure to help facilitate healing. Full recovery may take several months and results will gradually appear after the swelling and bruising subside.

Very professional and personable. Pleased with my results.
